the children look at them; the wild roses
the flowers that grow in the wild, away from the sunlight
the beautiful flowers
the bright red flames; the gentle roses

the children avoid them; the wild roses
the thorns on the flowers; prick the children
the flower's appearance
the bright red fragrance; the friendly roses

the children are gone; away from the wild roses
the innocent children; forgotten the roses
it's not their fault
the bright red grief; the small little roses
